The Department of Transportation had added another video to their Faces of Distracted Driving site. Secretary of Transportation Ray La Hood is keeping the pressure on in the attempts to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving and to hopefully influence legislation to protect all of us. To see the videos now on the site go to http://www.distraction.gov/faces/.

Many interviews have shown that drivers feel that they can successfully multi-task without causing an accident. While texting may be something we think of as occurring mostly with younger people, drivers of all ages continue to drive distracted. Those who have been impacted first hand by distracted driving have changed their behaviors. Hopefully, by hearing the stories of those who have been severely injured or killed as a result of distracted driving will make a difference.
