jenrgw Pennsylvania Tries Again

Pennsylvania legislators have once again introduced legislation that would ban cell phone use, including texting, by all drivers and create stricter restrictions on teen drivers.

House Bill 330 combines two earlier House bills that failed to pass.  If House Bill 330 becomes law it will limit all cell phone use by teen drivers and limit the number of passengers that a teen driver could have in the car. It would also prohibit texting and hand held cell phone use by other drivers, but would allow other drivers to use their cell phones with hands free devices.

We will keep you up to date on whether Pennsylvania succeeds in passing a distracted driving law this year.
