jenrgw Is Awareness the Answer?

A recent study completed by Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and SADD foundĀ  teenagers are becoming more aware of the dangers of texting and driving, but they are not changing their behavior. The survey found that 81 percent of teenage drivers admit to texting while driving while 59 percent of teenage drivers recognize texting and driving as dangerous behavior.

Liberty Mutual and SADD suggest that parents must take a more active role in enforcing family rules against distracted driving. Do you think that would be enough to change teen driver behavior or do you think there is a better way to solve this problem? Please leave a comment and let us know what you think.
