jenrgw Has the School Year Begun in Your Hometown?

Whether your community is already back to school or you still have a few weeks to go, it is important to be aware of the potential dangers associated with back to school time.  Excited children may dash across the street, buses may be unpredictable as drivers learn their routes, and cars may be speeding as parents rush to work after adjusting to a new morning routine.

It is important, now as always, to put your cell phone away while driving.  Do not glance to see who that text was from, do not make a call, and do not check the latest scores – not even at a red light.

Instead, focus on the road around you and don’t let a distracted driving accident ruin the start of a school year or worse take someone’s life.
