jenrgw Are You Teaching Your Children to Drive Distracted?

You may be telling your children about the dangers of distracted driving, but are your actions sending a different message?

Results of a recent survey indicate that more than 60% of teens report that their parents were distracted by their cell phones while teaching their teens how to drive. More than half of parents admit to sometimes being distracted while trying to teach their teens to drive safely.

Additionally, your children observe what you do in the car every day. Are you drinking your coffee as you take your kids to school? Are you eating dinner while driving to a soccer game? Are you fitting in some work calls on the way to music lessons?

Now is the time to set an example for your child and to do your part to help prevent future distracted driving crashes.
