jenrgw A Distracted Driving Valentines Day Message

Here is a form of distracted driving that we haven’t talked about yet on this site, but according to the findings of a recent InsuranceQuotes.com poll, apparently we should.

The poll found that 29% of drivers admit to being “amorous” while driving.  That number climbs significantly among drivers with higher incomes and higher education degrees.

Whether you are kissing at a red light or engaging in other sexual behavior while driving it is important to recognize that you are putting yourself, and your partner, in danger.  Your eyes are being diverted from the road, your attention is being diverted from the road, and your hands may be off of the steering wheel.

Please make this Valentine’s Day – and every day – safe and wait for that kiss until you are safely parked.
